Best Friend Benefits was founded in 2025 with the goal of providing affordable and reliable insurance coverage to individuals and businesses. Owners Lesley Ferguson and Claudia Corbin met at Kutztown University in 1991 and have been best friends ever since.
Lesley has been in the insurance industry for over 12 years. Claudia worked in Human Services supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and autism for 26 years. Claudia has been working in the insurance industry for 3 years. Over their 35-year friendship, they have weathered many ups and downs. Lesley is an 8-year survivor of pancreatic cancer. All of Claudia's immediate family members had cancer and other terminal conditions. Their personal and professional experiences fuel their passion for helping others through difficult times.
